If the image from which you want to extract and copy the text is inside your device, submit it either by:

• Dragging & dropping
• Copy-paste

**You can upload up to 5 images at a time, with a maximum file size of 4 MB per image.

For Photos Available Online:

Our tool also helps you convert online images into text. To copy/extract text from any image available online, submit it by:

• Copy the public URL of that image and paste it inside the ‘Enter URL’ box.

**The image URL must be publicly accessible over the internet.

2. Crop or Rotate Image

If the submitted image contains unnecessary sections, or you want to extract text from a specific section, our photo to text converter lets you crop the image. You can also rotate and flip the image if needed. To access this feature, click the crop icon. Once changes are made, click ‘Save image’.

** This step is optional. If none of the changes are needed, proceed to the next step.

3. Convert Picture to Text

Once the image(s) are submitted, the tool requires no cropping or rotation; just click ‘Convert’ to extract text from them. The conversion will take just a few seconds, depending on image quality and file size. As the text is extracted, the tool will show you the results in the box. 

4. Download or Copy Text
